Such a fun store. Educational toys and just things you don't see anywhere else. We bought a set of kids blocks from here that have Hiragana on them to learn beginners Japanese. Most of our kids Christmas and birthday shopping is done here.
Wonderful little toy shop! If he doesn't mind competition, I am sure Santa would approve! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the store has a fantastic selection of 'no batteries required' toys to spark the minds of our children. Oh and did I mention board games? They have TONS of board games! There is a board game aficionado working there named Nash, be sure to talk to him for some great recommendations. They have a great selection of Thomas the Train items and offer gift cards so kids can pick out their favourite locomotive! With three kids, we've gone through it all! Most people think that pricing at small mom & pop shops like this will be higher but the funny thing is, their pricing is actually better. Im not sure how they do it but they do! My wife has been a member of their loyalty program for 15 years! They frequently offer discounts and special deals via email which is great! We are fortunate to have The Village Toy shop in our community so remember to keep it local when it comes to gifting toys this Christmas and all year!
Great local toy store that we try to support instead of a big box store. They have good seasonal sales and a loyalty program.
Love this shop. Its in a quaint shopping area in Port Moody and the owners and staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Beautiful displays and a destination for Calico Critters and Playmobil lovers.
