Love this park, it has a good sized kids playground, a great trail for runners, and a boat launch place. There's also the The Boat House Restaurant right at the water front! Lots to see and do here. Parking is challenging in the Summer, but there are plenty of parking along Murray street, and a overflow parking at a soccer field near by.
Visited from out of town and we stopped by this park every day we were there! Something for everyone. Great fish and chips, excellent ice cream, our kid loved the splash pad and our dog loved the trails and off leash park. Great place!
Love the place. Just like to sit under a tree and read for a few hours. Good food within the park and the Boathouse on the fringe if you feel like fine dining and great views of the inlet. If I had a negative, it'd be the preponderance of goose poop on the grass. Don't wear your good shoes!
It was a sunny day when we were here and we were just so glad we came. It is a big beautiful park with amazing views of the water and mountains. There are restaurants around so no need to worry about getting hungry. There's also Rocky Point Ice Cream - people still line up no matter how long the lines are.
Came here with my wife on a Sunday. Got ice cream and walked around the park and took in the views. It's very beautiful here. Amazing views, lots of photographic opportunities, nice and easy walk, I highly recommend it. We came at sunset so it wasn't as busy as I imagine it would be during the day. Definitely check this out if you want a nice romantic stroll or some sunset photography.
