Parking lot too small, park very small and on a slope making it quite unpleasant. Like all other beaches around, you'll have people smoking, drinking, loud music and groups, dogs... family time or just relaxing moments is sadly no more what it used to be...
Cute little park across the inlet from rocky point park. If you walk the rocky point trail to the right, it actually leads you right to old orchard park. Beautiful place to catch the sunset on the beach. Also has got a nice playground for kids and a covered area for bbq, gatherings. Public washrooms are also available at the facility present above the train tracks
Nice little park with a near by (rocky) beach. My 2.5 year old enjoys the park. There are swings for little ones as well. It is on a hill, so some strollers may have trouble getting down to the beach. The trail around Rocky point is right there and it is a nice walk.
Good green space. The picnic shelter and playground were well maintained.
This is a nice park. When one thinks of a park they might think that it has swings and sand box. This is more of a relaxing beach where you could throw a football or frisbee. Bring your lawn chairs and kick back with a nice drink.Or bring your pooch and your blanket and your e book!!Oh and don't forget the grill and your favorite item to BBQ. Life's too short ... so you gotta enjoy it!!See you at the beach
