I have been a friend of Shannon's family for over 20 years, and was there at the very beginning of Spa Divine. I received my first treatment at their gala opening (hot stone therapy) and have been going there for every important occasion in my life. When I was pregnant with my son 8 years ago, I had severe back pain and the RMT at Spa Divine was absolute perfection. The highly skilled staff is only one of the reasons this spa is literally divine - the atmosphere is a sigh of relief when you walk in the front door. The services are first-rate, down to the tea they offer while you sit in one of their luxury pedicure chairs. They have excellent products (the hand cream is my favourite!), and rates that are worth every penny. I have always had a first-class experience here, and will recommend it as my go-to spa to anyone who asks. Brava Shannon and the Spa Divine team!
My husband booked our appointment for a 1 hour relaxation couples massage. We were initially impressed with the atmosphere and greeting as this was our first time at this spa. We were both asked how much pressure we would like during the massage, I asked for medium pressure. What I got was, what would best be described as meat being tenderized. It was not at all relaxing or consistent with a relaxation massage. I tensed up and was quite sore afterwards. My husband expressed this to my masseuse and she brushed it off. The next day my husband called and spoke to the manager. The manger apologized and asked for me to call her. She acknowledged my complaint and said she would like another chance to rectify the situation. We spoke a few times and she said she was trying to hire some new girls and she would keep me posted. Its been 3 weeks and I havent heard from her. Very steep price for poor customer service.
