I've been to SSG approximately a dozen or more times over the past 10 years. It's Port Moody's most refined restaurant and I really appreciate that as I am from Port Moody where dining experiences are non existent. When I've come with friends who are regulars , the service is fantastic and the meals are great. When I come with just my wife, I get mediocre service with sloppy plating. It's fair to say that I feel no love whatsoever when I dine here. Not sure why, but I'm too wise to give a rats #ss. The decor is eclectic and tasteful although it's time for a makeover. It was creative 20 years ago, but it's about time. The food is good and and if you are part of Port Moody's elite you might think that it's excellent. .... P. S. Just because I drive an F150, I am of your calibre and do count to all the restaurants that I am happy to give my money to. No hate whatsoever, just a reality check. I'll probably be back one more time to see if the power of Google has any effect on making your restaurant a better one....
Myself and 5 friends had an outstanding dining experience. It all started with a warm welcome from host/bartender/server/all around great guy, Jay. We had several "family style" appetizers, entrees of steak, duck and char. All meals were excellently prepared, nicely presented on the plate and very tasty!! Three "family style" desserts finished the meal with a home run!! Our host Jay ensured all was to our liking and that no glasses went dry, be it wine or water. Service was outstanding and very professional. Our friends from Vancouver said they will be returning and I wish we lived there so we could join them. We will definitely be going there the next time we are in Vancouver. Would like to thank Jay and Chef Tyler for an awesome experience!
I have a real affinity towards restaurants that treat me like I am family. When I walk into Saint Street Grill, I feel like I am about to sit down with my best friends and family. Jay, the manager, seems to always be working away, with a smile on his face and a sense of humor that perfectly matches our personalities. The food is great! Recently, Ive been working my way through their new menu. My most recent favorite is the grilled pork chop. If you dine their, the new marinated squid appetizer is to die for.
Great atmosphere, excellent service and smaller menu that brings fresh seasonal ingredients for your Dunnigan experience. You'll enjoy the food here. I'll come again.
I've been coming here for a few years and I can't say finer things about this place. The food is amazing, no matter what time of the year you come it's crafted to complete perfection. I suggest ordering everything off the appetizers menu to try as it's all top notch. The drinks are always made perfectly too. I rate most places I eat by the way they make their CAESAR'S and this place always makes me order more than one.Dessert... well you can't have a meal without dessert and everything on the menu is highly recommended! Now for the staff... Jay and company are the most sincere and polite servers in town! There's always a story or joke to be had with the staff as they bring food and drink in a blink. If you're thinking about going some place that's well above and beyond what you're used too, St. Street Grill will make you and your taste buds for the high life come back time and time again.
