We got a quote from CertaPro Port Moody last year but decided to delay painting due to higher priority renovations. Then in January/February we were contacted by K who wanted to know whether we painted our house after all, and if not, could she re-quote us and offer us out of season discounts including a "magic" price that we could not refuse. K came to the house -- arriving 15 minutes late with no apology -- and measured everything and eventually sent us a new quote. The quote was obviously copy and pasted from the year before down to the spelling errors in the name and address. I called K to ask why the quote was identical and what about the "magic" price. Initially K said that she would only offer a discount after we have committed to the offer?! After I said that that did not make sense, she said her boss forced her to copy and paste the old quote and not offer a discount. I sent a complaint email to the boss, P, who blamed K because she was new to the job. He offered to re-quote with the highest possible discount plus a bit more as a good will gesture. His quote ended up being 12% less. I don't consider 12% to be "magic" and I don't believe that this is the highest possible discount. As such, I feel that my time has been wasted by CertaPro Port Moody.
The estimator was unprofessional. She arrived 15 minutes late without calling beforehand to let me know. No apology. She forgot the colour samples in her car. Couldn't give me an estimate right away because she forgot how much the primer is to seal in smoke. When she finally did send the estimate by email 5 hours later, there was no text in her email, just the attached quote. And the quote was astronomical, for a 1 bedroom apartment, it was a price you'd see for a house painting. When I asked for a breakdown of costs to see if we could bring down the price, she replied with seven words, ignoring the request.
Great quality job. Would highly recommend. Had our house painted in under 2 weeks from the time of the quote to job completed. Painters were very good. They were helpful in their suggestions. Always conferring with us through out the job.

Very Positive experience working with Certapro on the Exterior of our house. At first I wanted to give my business to a local company. Unfortunately the 2 local companies I called quoted me 3-4 times as much. Although they were not the cheapest, they were the most thorough. Estimator was very detailed as was the 6 page proposal they provided that included photos of the area to be painted. Scheduling was very timely, the crew was at my door within a week. The Painters ( Tomas and his crew) did an amazing job, were very professional, and left the house spotless after leaving, I am really happy with the work.
