Food was bland and dish names in some cases was misleading (tuna poke was actually a tuna stack and extremely lacking in flavour don't know where that ponzu sauce was hiding). By 7:30pm they ran out of three of their main menu items (lamb burger, burger patties and chicken strips). Managers need to staff appropriately and plan their food inventory better on Saturdays.
Food was good but the service was not. Waited close to an hour for our meals, once our food was finally at our table we didn't see the waitress for another 1/2 hour. We had to ask for everything, finally a man came and started clearing our plates away...I am assuming it was the manager. NO...it was not busy, maybe 5 or 6 other tables. Probably will not be back.
The Burrard Public House has a fantastic selection of local beers. the food lately has been really quite good but I have had a couple of meals there in the past that were not great. I would recommend anything with the short rib in it and if it's sunny out try and sit on the back patio it's gorgeous.
Absolutely the worst pub food on the strip, atrocious service and inconsiderate staff who really, genuinely dont seem to care if youre enjoying your meal or beverages or not. This is the third strike out for me and their food. (1) nachos - cheese please? (2) tuna poke that had tuna suitable for YESTERDAYS tuna salad, not TODAYS sashimi! (3) chicken quesadilla so dry it cut my mouth biting into it!! I wish I had taken photos of these meals and I wish I could give this establishment less than one star rating. Dont waste your time or money going here at any time of day. Period.
One particular staff member was extremely rude, giving attitude to a skip the dishes courier. She made inappropriate remarks to the courier in front of other customers and in fact, even belittled him at the end before he left. It was not a pleasant sight to see and experience. Unbelievable for a job that entails for great customer service because that certainly was not the case.
